A New Model: We recognize that radical shifts in how independent films are acquired and distributed have resulted in a reality where there is a less than 1% opportunity for those films to break even, much less turn a profit. Because Frankly Speaking Films is mission-driven to effect societal change for LGBTQ+ women, we are shifting to a non-profit model. The Producers Circle is our innovation to create an engine for this new model. We envision sharing our model widely in the field to make it available to other mission-driven filmmakers
